SEO Audit for Trading and Fintech Sites

Before you commission content or rebuild anything, it helps to know whether the problem is technical, editorial or strategic. Those need different fixes and different budgets. An audit is the cheap way to find out.

What you get

A written report with findings in order of impact. Not a ninety page crawl export with every warning a tool could produce. Specifically:

  • The issues actively costing you traffic or blocking indexing, with the fix for each.
  • A priority list split into quick wins and work that needs proper resourcing, so you can decide what happens this month and what waits.
  • Content and keyword findings. Where you compete with yourself, where the intent is off, and the gaps worth building.
  • Who is taking your traffic and why. In this industry that is often a review site rather than a rival firm.
  • A starting read on what AI assistants currently say about your brand. Most audits skip this.
  • A walkthrough call, so your team can ask questions and I can explain the reasoning.
You keep the report either way. There is no requirement to work with me afterwards, and if I think the issue does not need an outside consultant I will say so.

What gets checked

Technical

Indexing, crawl waste, canonicals, redirects, sitemaps, schema, hreflang if you run several regions, and page speed.

On-page and content

Titles, descriptions, heading structure, thin and duplicate pages, internal links, and whether pages match what the searcher wants.

Keywords and intent

What you rank for now, what you should target, and which pages are competing with each other. More in intent-driven SEO.

Brand signals

Whether Google and AI tools understand what your brand is, who runs it and what category it sits in.

Competitive position

Who holds your money terms, whether they are reachable, and where to spend the budget instead.

Risk in existing copy

Claims on your live pages that could cause trouble in a regulated market. Better caught by me than by a regulator.

Who it tends to suit

  • Prop firms and brokers whose traffic has gone flat with no clear cause.
  • Sites that have just migrated, rebranded or changed platform and want to know what broke.
  • Operators about to spend on content who want it spent in the right place.
  • Vendors in the trading space who suspect they are invisible to the operators they sell to.
  • Anyone told they need a large retainer who wants a second opinion first.

Timeline and price

Turnaround depends on how big the site is and how many regions you run. A single site is usually about a week. A broker group with several entities and languages takes longer.

I give you a firm timeline and a fixed price once I have seen the domain, and nothing starts until you have agreed both.

A free first look

If you are not ready for a paid audit, send me your URL through the contact form with SEO check in the message. I will spend a few minutes on it and tell you what I see. No charge and no follow-up sequence. If there is no problem worth paying to fix, I will say that.

Send me your domain

Tell me the site and what you are worried about. I will come back with scope, price and timeline.

Questions

How is this different from a free tool report?

A crawler tells you what is technically broken. It cannot tell you which of those things matters for a prop firm, which to ignore, or that your real problem is a review site owning your brand term. The judgment is the deliverable.

Do you fix the issues or just report them?

The audit is the report and a walkthrough call. Doing the work is separate, and plenty of clients hand the report to their own team or another agency.

What access do you need?

Read access to Search Console and analytics makes the findings much sharper. I can work without them, but the report will be weaker and I will show you where it is guessing.

Will you try to sell me a retainer?

I will tell you what I think the work needs. If that is nothing, or something your own team can handle, the report will say so.

Do you audit sites outside prop trading and forex?

Yes. Adjacent fintech is close enough that I move quickly. Further out I will do the reading first and tell you honestly how long it adds, so you can decide.
