[prop firm seo]
Prop Firm SEO Services
Most prop firms lose the search battle before they start, because the pages ranking for their own brand name belong to review sites, not to them. Fixing that is a specific job with specific rules, and it is not the same job as ranking a SaaS product or an ecommerce store.
Why prop firm SEO is its own problem
Three things make this industry harder than normal SEO.
Review sites own the money keywords
Search your firm name plus “review”, “payout”, or “scam” and you will probably find four aggregators above your own site. Traders trust those pages more than they trust yours, which is rational. You cannot outrank all of them with a landing page, so the strategy has to be part owned content and part managing how you appear on other people’s pages. I wrote about that dynamic in more detail in prop firm reviews, SEO, and reputation management.
Google treats you as a money and risk topic
Anything touching people’s money gets held to a higher evidence standard. Vague copy about “reaching your potential as a funded trader” does nothing. Specific, verifiable detail about drawdown rules, payout splits, profit targets, and platform support does. This is also why thin affiliate style pages on a firm’s own domain tend to sit still for months.
Your rules change and your content does not
Firms adjust consistency rules, drawdown calculations, and payout schedules regularly. Every time that happens, some of your published pages become wrong. Wrong pages lose trust with traders and with Google. Most firms have no process for this at all.
What the work involves
Keyword and intent mapping
Separating traders researching the model from traders comparing two specific firms from traders looking for a discount code. These need different pages. Putting them on one page is why so many firm blogs convert badly.
Category and comparison pages
The pages that capture “best prop firm for” style demand. Built on your real rules and pricing, not generic filler, so they survive a review site comparison.
Rules and payout documentation
Turning your own rulebook into indexable pages. This is the most underused asset almost every firm has. Traders search these questions constantly and the answers usually live in a PDF or a Discord pin.
Technical and site structure
Internal linking, canonical handling on near duplicate challenge pages, schema, and page speed. Boring and necessary. See Core Web Vitals if you want the detail.
Entity and brand signals
Making sure Google understands what your firm is, who runs it, and where it operates. This is what decides whether you get named in AI answers. More on the concept in entity SEO.
Content maintenance process
A simple system so that when you change a rule, the pages that mention it get updated instead of quietly going stale.
What I will push back on
If you ask me to write ten near identical “best prop firm” pages to farm affiliate keywords on your own brand domain, I will tell you it is a bad idea and explain why. Same for buying links, spinning coupon pages, and publishing pass rate claims you cannot back up.
I would rather lose the project than build something that gets your domain filtered in six months.
Background
I run content and SEO across a network of prop trading and forex media properties, which means I spend most of my week on the review site side of this equation. I know how those pages get built, ranked, and monetised, because I build them. That perspective is useful when the problem is that they are outranking you.
I have published a lot of this thinking openly. Prop firm SEO in 2026, intent-driven SEO for prop firms, and how to market a prop firm are the best starting points if you want to judge the thinking before you contact me.
Send me your domain
Tell me the firm and what is not working. I will give you an honest read before any money changes hands.
Questions
Can you get my firm off the review sites, or higher on them?
I cannot control an independent publisher’s ranking of you, and you should be suspicious of anyone who says they can. What I can do is make sure the information those sites use about you is accurate, and build your own pages so you own the searches that matter most.
How long before this shows results?
Technical fixes can move things in weeks. New content competing for commercial keywords in this niche usually takes a few months to settle. Any specific timeline promise before seeing your site would be made up.
Do you work with firms that are not regulated?
Most prop firms are not, and that is normal for the model. I will not write copy that claims regulation or protection that does not exist. Why firms structure the way they do is covered in why prop trading firms register offshore.
Can you work with our in-house writers instead of writing everything?
Yes, and it is often the better option. I brief, set the structure, and edit. Your team knows your rules better than I do.
Do you do paid ads too?
Not as a service. I understand the interaction between paid and organic in this niche and have written about rising prop firm CAC, but the delivery work I take on is organic.
